The uni-level debates for the 2011 ALSA UI began a little behind schedule, but as at time of writing Round 3 is well under way.
Round 2 used the tournament's first set of pre-announced motions appearing under the heading "Economy". These were:
M1 - THW abolish all conditions of development aid for war-torn countries.
M2 - THB in austerity to survive times of financial crisis.
M3 - THBT the EU and US should abolish their subsidies on agricultural subsidies.
Round 3 deployed impromptu motions dealing with Religion:
M1 - TH opposes organised religion.
M2 - THBT religion is a force of good.
M3 - THW grant the right for religious institutions to discriminate.
